Nearly There, But Cursing Myself for Writing an Action Story
Basically what it says on the tin here. I have made progress, but the thing really holding me back is that I insisted on writing an action story despite knowing that I get terrible writer's block when it comes to writing action scenes. I can outline them just fine, but the process of drafting them feels like a brick wall.
The good news is that at the time of writing this, I have maybe 300-400 words of the first draft left, and then it's simply a process of going through several editing passes to really polish and tighten it up. The week of the 4th of July was very busy for me, and I ended it with some kind of bug that's kept me ill and unproductive, but it is feasible (if a little unlikely) that I can still hit my July 15 goal for this final chapter. July 21 at the latest unless I just grind to a complete halt for whatever reason.
Thank you for your patience. I will never write another action story for a bundle ever again.
