Gareth pushes his human friend out of the way of a moving vehicle, but in turn is nearly killed. As an android, it's a small matter to place him in a temporary body until a new one can be made for him. Unfortunately, the only body available is a very distinctly feminine one. But it's fine: nobody cares about appearances anyway. As long as he keeps his head down and pretends that nothing has changed, nobody will even comment on it. He hopes. One or two people have been treating him a little differently.
